  1. Jonette we are praying for you and your precious family.John was a great man,
a great friend to our family, He loved God and his family. We will see him again in heaven. We love you and your precious family!

  2. Jonette, are hearts and prayers are with you and your family. We know John was a very positive person. The Martine Family and our family grew up together. I remember all the way back to Elementary School. All of us Boys from Gage Court & Jefferson St. for so many years playing ball and other things in the streets. Going to Grimmer Elementary School on the weekend playing, running around; following the tracks down to Lake Elizabeth. Growing a little older riding our bikes to be truly the first to do Honda Hills before it became Honda Hills. The trips going to Mill Creek Road on our bikes were great (hitting speeds up to 50 miles per hour!). The sometimes long hikes (and chasing cows), a couple of times climbed up Mission Peak. All the fun we all had when we were young. John was a big part of it all. During High School when we all started going in different paths. I do recall my brother David Joe & John being very tight for many years. So many of us knew of John and David Joe, both respected and admired them. The masses (people of that part of Fremont) knew of their reputations. You did not mess with them, if you did, you paid the consequences. Their kind heart I think only those of us that were close to John and David Joe knew about them, it was pretty hidden. Back then it may have not been macho to have a kind heart image. The closeness of John and David Joe was a good thing to see. They had each others back. As time goes on we sometimes drift a part. But for me I will always have some of my best memories the times us Gauge Court and Jefferson St. Boys, as John was a big part of it, when we use to hang out and play. Great times, very found memories (makes me smile to think of the times). God bless you and your family. John was a pretty good guy, and will be missed.
