Ruthmary Hardy

Ruthmary Brown Hardy Born March 28, 1934 to Floyd and Minnie Bennett Brown. Born on Saturday morning on a small farm outside Clam Falls, Wisc. Ruthmary was the third of five daughters. They lived in Wisc until she was four, from there they moved to a farm in Schuyler County Missouri and then to Peoria, Illinois where her father Floyd was employed at Caterpiller Tractor Co. On Christmas Eve, 1950, Ruthmary met the love of her life, Johnnie Hardy. They were married May 5th and shared 66 wonderful years together. In 1953 the young family of four, they had 2 little girls by now, moved to Hawthorne California. They would soon add two more little girls. In 1958 they settled in the Sacramento California area, where Johnnie worked at Aero-Jet General. Again the family grew by two little boys. From 1951 - 1969 this family had grown to six wonderful children. Now we really got serious growing. Paula Christine married Terry Aldrich. Paula’s 2 sons, Allen and Eric (d.i.l) Deanne and their 3 sons; Dayton, Gavin, Bowen, and daughter Avery. Terry’s daughter Emily (s.i.l) Brent and daughter Mackinsey, and 2 sons, Wyatt and Jaxson. Rosemary Dannette married Dennis Best. Two children; Derrick (d.i.l) Cheryl, 2 sons; Drake and Thade and daughter Wrenn. Chance (s.i.l) Joey, 2 sons Kacen and Kolten. Holly Joann married Philip Neesham. Two children; Brian (d.i.l.) Torrie, 2 sons Vaughn and Deagen. Leslie Ann (s.i.l) Jeff, 2 sons Taevin and Grayson, Melody Marie married Mark Stenrose. Three sons, Bobby, (d.i.l) Susan, 2 sons Griffin and Parker. Jonathan and Tommy. Jack Bennett married Pam Byman. Pam has 2 children, Jennifer and Jeremy. James Vincent has 1 son, Just’n, our little clown. In 1970 they settled in Fremont permanently. They ran Irvington Wheel and Brake for 25 years. Retired in 1995 and traveled 5 years. The bought a place in Yuma, Az. In 2000 and spent the next 8 winters building a cozy little home in the desert. Ruthmary is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Minnie Brown, Sisters Arlyne Cook, Darlyne Gillham, Lila Sallions, Frances Humphreys, Jessie See, Grace Springer, and Son in law Gary Simonson.
