John C. Liclican, Sr. entered into rest March 11, 2018 at Regional Medical Center in San Jose, CA, he was 80 years old. He was an accountant for over 40 years and was an avid bingo player.
Beloved father of Mary Ann Livingston and husband Don, Louida Carlson and husband Art, John Liclican, Silvestre Liclican, John J. Liclican Jr. and wife Karla and Aldo Liclican. Dearest brother of Sonia McGibbon and husband Ian, Arthur Liclican and wife Leticia and Leo Liclican and wife Emily. Loving grandfather of Michelle, Samantha, Joey, Kiana, Cody, Jacob, Nathan, Luke, Luna and Julian and great grandfather of Taylor and Marcus. Uncle to Albert, Brian, Christopher, Melissa, Mark, Cecil, Michael and Elvira.
Family and friends are invited to attend a 6:30 PM vigil service with visitation starting at 4:00 PM, Friday, March 16th, held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont. Funeral mass will be Saturday, March 17th at 12:00 PM at St. Victors 3108 Sierra Rd, San Jose followed by burial at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. A reception will be held at World Gourmet Buffet Restaurant, 6010 Stevenson Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538 between 3:30 and 6:00 PM.

To John’s Family
I was very sad to find out about my dear friends passing. It breaks my heart that I didnt get to say goodbye to John. The only good thing that I can say about his passing is knowing he is reunited with his wife.
John was a long time friend of my family of many years. Yes he did love bingo.. I loved it how him and his wife (Babe) he called her. Would always would be at bingo ready to win. Such beautiful people. John would call me every tuesday and thursday to ask if we were going to bingo so we could wish eachother luck and just chat. Ill miss his smile and laughter. My deepest condolences to the Family. Rest in peace my friend.
