Ricjard L. FitzGerald passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 70. Born to Maurice and Kathleen FitzGerald in Columbus, Georgia; he is survived by family members: Charming Ho, Cameron FitzGerald, Angel Carag, Barbara Wilson, and Cheri Rice. He was a proud Vietnam War veteran, serving in the Air Force in a long family line of military veterans before him. An engineer and business executive, he spent his career on the cutting edge of technology. He was a man of many talents, a jack of all trades. Avid golfer and football enthusiast, friends and family could always count on him to provide insight on each new season or the old and new faces of the PGA, NFL, or NCAA. Richard’s final resting place is at Gate of Heaven cemetery in Los Altos. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Richard was a great guy and true friend. We met at IBM Boca Raton working in the same department and became fast friends with our mutual interests.. which involved golf and boating and more golf! He was a groomsman at my wedding and even there his “no nonsense” attitude showed through when my DJ messed up the song selections. Dick took care of that fast! I will miss him and may God Bless his soul and welcome him to Heaven. To Charming, Cameron and other family and friends my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
