Richard "Rick" Parodi

richard
Richard David Parodi, 62, unexpectedly passed on the morning of May 25, 2019. He was born on March 21, 1957. He had a great career as a CFO and CPA, but those are not what he was most known for. Rick was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was a God-fearing man that always took care of everyone close to him. He was known for his honesty and loyalty. Everyone always came first. And oh, his sense of humor!!! He was preceded in death by his mother Jeannette, who he loved dearly, and his father-in-law, Jon Culwell. He will be missed by his wife of 30 years, Gina, 3 daughters, Amanda, Sarah and Alyssa, son-in-law, Chris, and niece, Lushia (who was like a daughter). He will also be missed by his three siblings, Nancy, Ken and Karen, nieces and nephews Joel, Michael, Steven, and Mia, Uncle Joe & Aunt Carol, mother-in-law, Inez, and the rest of Gina’s family.

  3. The sun still shines even when it’s blocked by clouds.
God will bring you through, though it is still a sorrowful,
wearying path to tread. My heart and prays go out to you
and the girls and the whole family. I’m glad for the many years
you had together, but the better a person is, the more they are missed.

What’s true in the light is still true in the dark.
You’re good and your kind and You care for this heart.
[God], you weep with me.” -Rend Collective

  6. I’m so sorry to hear about Rick. I have many great memories of Rick and the entire family. Sending lots of love and prayers to everyone.

  7. My heartfelt sympathies to all who loved Rick. Rick was always a great guy and always fun to be around. I was thinking of him and remembered that Rick took Karen and I to our first concert. We saw Lynard Skynard and Journey in New Years Eve. During our teenage years Rick was like an older brother. May God wrap his loving and healing arms around the Parodi family and keep them in his loving arms at this time. Heaven gained a Great Angel! Rick R.I.P. You will be missed. ❤️

  8. I just learned of this so late! Rick was one of the friendliest guys I’ve ever known. Always wore a smile and quick with a laugh. Though I hadn’t seen him in 20 years I thought of him often and always catch up soon.

  9. I went to Fremont Elementary with RIchard and his siblings. He was always smiling and happy. RIP Richard
