Constance Maria Scott, age 69, passed away peacefully August 26th, 2019 due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She was born on October 11th, 1949 in Oakland, CA to parents, Leonard M. Scott and Viola J. Porter.
Constance loved spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren), watching her favorite game shows and playing online bingo. She also shared her love with soul food such as smothered pork chops, fried catfish and collard greens for her family and friends.
Constance was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality, loved to party and always made the people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went from the South to the Pacific Northwest.
Constance worked in the technology and financial services industry for many years with companies such as Sanwa Bank, Fairchild Semiconductor and Computer Land.
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, John 16:22 — “So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you”.
Constance is survived by her brothers; Leonard M Scott Jr, Randy Scott, Ray Bell, Earl Bell and Marvin Bell her sisters Joann Scott, Patricia Scott, Clamidy Bell and Melody Bell. Her son Ronald Neal Jr., his wife Jennifer Neal. Her daughter Raquel Neal and grandchildren, Sean Moore, Dante Sewell, Jaida Jacobs, Jalen, Justin and Jaxon Neal, plus her great grandchild, Sean Moore III and her many nephews, nieces and extended family. All for whom she loved and touched deeply.
Constance was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard M. Scott and Viola J. Porter and her brother, Christopher Scott.
