Yolanda Sanchez Ortiz

Yolanda Sanchez Ortiz peacefully passed away on September 21st, 2019 in San Francisco, CA. Yolanda was born in Mexico City on February 14, 1942, loving daughter of Raquel Ortiz and Juan Sanchez. She met her beloved husband Jose Velasco and got married April 1st, 1967. She was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She adored dancing, making jokes, and smiling at life. She always stayed true to her faith and was always willing to give a helping hand to all who needed it. Yolanda is survived by her husband, Jose Velasco, her 3 children, Yolanda, Jose Cruz and Raquel, and her 3 grandchildren, Emmanuel, Ariadne and Joshua. Viewing and celebration of life will be held at Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, on Friday, September 27th from 5pm-8pm with catholic service at 6pm. Mass will be held on Saturday, September 28th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish on 41933 Blacow Road at 11:00am. Per her request, please refrain from wearing dark colored attire. Yolanda nació en la Ciudad de México el 14 de febrero del 1942, hija amada de Raquel Ortiz y Juan Sánchez. Conoció a su querido esposo José Velasco y se casaron el 1º de abril del 1967. Fue una esposa, hija, madre y abuela amada. Le gustaba bailar, ser muy bromista y siempre sonriente. Siempre fue una persona de fe dispuesta a ayudar a todo el que lo necesitara. A Yolanda le sobreviven su esposo, José Velasco, sus hijos Yolanda, José Cruz y Raquel y sus nietos Emmanuel Ariadne y Joshua. La visitación y celebración de su vida se realizará en Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, el viernes 27 de septiembre de las 5pm-8pm con un servicio católico a las 6pm. La misa tomara lugar el sábado 28 de septiembre a las 11am en la parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 41933 Blacow Road.
