July 2, 1964 ~ November 22, 2025

Resided in: Fremont, California

Steve Keller resident of Fremont, California passed away at home on November 22nd, 2025 after a four- and half-year valiant battle with cancer. He was born in New York in 1964 to Jack and Miriam Keller.

Steve got his electrical engineering degree from ASU and was a member of the ASU marching band. After graduation he married Donna Zillich and moved to California in 1986. His career included working for Kaiser Electronics, R O Associates, and Bio-Rad. He was a hard worker and extremely dedicated to his job. He went on to get his master’s in engineering from Santa Clara University.

Steve loved tinkering with puzzles, models, 3-d printing, and anything computer related. He was dedicated to his family and willing to do anything to help after first giving you a hard time. He loved ridiculously bad jokes (quack!).

He will be greatly missed by his wife Donna, his mother, Miriam, his two children Catherine and David (Sammy), his grandson Logan and his sisters Judy and Susie

A memorial service will be held for Steve on Saturday, January 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels. 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. If you are planning to attend, we ask that you wear “Blue” in honor of Steve since it was his favorite color.

  1. CandleLoved our Steve…so kind and generous. His engineering mind and humor will fondly be remembered in my relationship with him. And his love of those puzzles with itty bitty pieces that made me nuts…and he never lost any. I will miss him and how he was the rock of his family. God blessed us with Steve.
