Theresa Marie Elam

Theresa Marie Elam passed away on January 16th 2026. She was proceeded in death by her loving mother, Katherine Elam. She is survived by her father, Joseph Elam, whom she adored, her sisters, Cindy Anderson (Eric), Kelly Hopkins (Marty) her brother, Joey Elam (Karen) and her two god daughters and nieces Sarah Anderson and Molly Hopkins along with her nephews Ryan Anderson, Caleb Hopkins, Sean Anderson, and Noah Elam.

Terry attended Holy Spirit Catholic School from first grade through eighth grade and went on to Moreau Catholic High School which she graduated from in 1983. Some of the things Terry loved were being a song girl at Moreau, hanging out with her friends, and listening to music. She went on to become a court reporter, a 911 dispatcher and later in her career, an employee for the City of Brentwood. Terry enjoyed going to Cedar Ridge where the family cabin was.  She loved camping at Lake Hogan with her family, cousins, and friends where she was able to water ski and create life-long memories.  She loved the beach and working out but she especially enjoyed her Labrador retrievers whom she spent endless hours playing with.

She is preceded in death by each of them: Kona, Zoey , and Cassie. Terry’s laughter will forever be remembered by all who knew her.

A service will be held in her honor on Friday March 13th at 3:30 pm at the Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of The Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont Ca. The celebration of Terry’s life will continue following the service at her childhood home 35448 Reymouth drive, Newark Ca.
