Born in: San Jose, California
Resided in: Fremont, California

Pamela Echeverria Randolph, age 69, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026, at Kaiser Santa Clara after a courageous four-year battle with stage 4 stomach cancer. Her strength, resilience, and determination far exceeded expectations, inspiring all who knew her.

Pamela was born in San Jose, California, and was a lifelong resident of the Bay Area, spending many years in Fremont, California. She devoted her life to what she considered her greatest joy, being a mother to her four children. Her love, care, and unwavering presence shaped the lives of her family in immeasurable ways.

A woman deeply rooted in her faith, Pamela was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years. She gave generously of her time and heart to her church community, most notably as the longtime director of the Story Sunday Players, where she helped bring Bible stories to life for children with creativity, warmth, and joy.

Pamela was deeply committed to serving others and giving back to her community. She was an active member of the PTA and a dedicated Girl Scout leader for many years, guiding and supporting young people with patience and care. She also volunteered regularly at a local homeless shelter, where she helped lead and prepare meals for those in need. She found purpose in caring for others and bringing people together through simple acts of kindness.

She found great happiness in movies and theater, often supporting her children behind the scenes in their performances and even enjoying opportunities to appear as an extra in films in San Francisco. She treasured those experiences and the people she met along the way. As atrue California native, she also cherished time spent outdoors, especially family camping trips among the Redwoods and time spent at the family’s South Lake Tahoe house. She loved to travel and was proud to have visited all 50 states. These memories will remain close to the hearts of those she loved.

Above all, Pamela was a proud and loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. She often said they were her “medicine” giving her strength, purpose, and joy throughout her illness. She cherished every moment with them and deeply wished to be a lasting part of their lives.

Pamela is survived by her children, Sean & Jessica Randolph, Jeremy & Colleen Randolph, Nicole & Marcus Odor, and Kevin Randolph; her nine beloved grandchildren; her father, Jose Echeverria; and her siblings, Rosanna Echeverria, Jessica Ocenosak, Camille Vernick, Antonio Echeverria, and Julieen Lara. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Echeverria.

Pamela will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, her steadfast faith, her strength in the face of adversity, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
