'On Valentine’s day, our beloved Father and Grandfather Antonio passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side. He was born in Rowe, New Mexico and eventually moved and settled in Fremont, California. He resided in Fremont for the last 45 years. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Korean war where he was trained to drive tanks. After returning home from his assignment, he met his wife Lydia. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, who worked as a dough mixer for 20 years and 5 years with the Fremont Unified School District to support his wife and 9 children. He enjoyed trips to the casino, guitar & harmonica playing, gardening, handyman tasks, his dog Clyde and the numerous family celebrations. Antonio leaves behind a legacy of family-his wife, Lydia of 64 years, daughters (Angela, Anita, Tanya & Katrina), sons (Henry, Ricky & Daryl) and numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughters Joann, Marla and son Jackie.
