Dale Lafayette Eads beloved artist, father, partner and friend left this earth on August 17, 2024.
Affectionally known to his friends as Deej, he was born in Reno, NV on December 16, 1954. As a child he moved to Oakland, CA and later spent many years in Berkeley.
He was a renaissance man and a self-taught artist, musician, creator and editor.
His love of music led him to use his skills as a DJ and Karaoke Host. He could sure liven up any party or event.
Our Dale, Dad, Deej, you are greatly missed.
From his time with One World Family Commune, he lived his life with the mantra
“Love is Service Done”.

Dale and I shared a LOT of of laughs and great times together over the decades. He saw me through lots of trials and tribulations but as he always said he believed in what we were doing. He administrated with a masterful touch my rise to front page fame as a Blood donor and musician. I had so many memories of just hanging with him way back when we were basically kids ….. glad he was able to have the satisfaction of sharing in a lot of success with the many people he helped. We both loved the quote “All that matters is that you look successful” Peace out Dale!
