He worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles for 22 years and put in for retirement in August 31, 2021. He had a passion for the finer things in life and indulged in them.
Gerald is predeceased by his father Benigno Hidalgo Sumera. He is survived by his mother, Aida-Amelia Villanueva Sumera, his sister Desiree Sumera Lawhorne, his brother-in-law Craig Anthony Lawhorne and his newphews Nico Benigno Kuchauskas, Jack Foster Lawhorne and Kale Adam Lawhorne.
Gerald will be dearly missed.
