Jewell Marie Borden

Jewell is survived by her husband (of 70 years) Montrual “True” Borden, son Jerry and his wife Karen, granddaughter Katelyn, and a cherished extended family. Jewell is pre-deceased by her son Fred. Jewell was born in Marlow, Oklahoma and moved to Porterville with her parents, brothers, and sister when she was 15 years old. Jewell graduated from Porterville High School; was an active member of The First Southern Baptist Church; and enjoyed a long bookkeeping career at J.C. Penny. Jewell was devoted to her family and loved gathering family and friends in her home for holiday meals. Jewell will be buried in the Porterville Cemetery. There will be no services held.
