John W. Martin

John Martin, long time resident of Fremont, passed away on June 17. He was a graduate of Washington High School. John was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a passion for restoration of vintage cars. He began his work at Peterbilt Motors, later retiring from Washington Hospital.

John is survived by his wife, Virginia. They raised three sons, who gave them five grandchildren and one great grandson.

Friends are invited to celebrate John’s life with his family at on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. Family visitation will begin at 8:15 A.M., followed by public visitation at 9:15 A.M.. Memorial services will begin at 11:00 A.M. with burial and reception to follow.
