Joseph Anthony Pacheco

Joe passed away with his wife and daughters by his side. Joe was born and raised in Hayward, Ca by his parents William and Belle Pacheco. He met his future wife Dorothy in 5th grade at Fairview Elementary School. Joe and Dorothy celebrated there sixty-sixth wedding Anniversary last July 5th. Joe worked for forty years operating heavy equipment. He loved to work in his garden and enjoyed cruising to many ports with his wife. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Joe and his wife lived in Fremont, Ca for fifty-eight years and recently moved to San Ramon to be closer to family. Joe leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy and two daughters, Judy Fellion and Linda Brooks and her husband Don, Grandchildren, Tom, Melissa, Andrew, Garrett and Rebecca, Great Grandchildren, Tara, Tyler, Abby, and Gracie, Brothers, Alvin, Tom, and sister Mary Ann, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra, sister Darlene and brothers, Ernie Bill and George. The family would like to thank Joe’s caregivers, Ellie, Wella and Mark for their wonderful care and kindness. Services will be held Friday 15, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, Ca. A reception will follow at the banquet hall at Holy Spirit Church, 37648 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, Ca. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations should be made in Joe’s name to a charity of your choice.
