Resided in:
Seattle, Washington
Lea Adamović passed away at the age of 25 in her beloved city of Seattle. Born on December 7, 1993 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina and moving to California in 1995, the love of travel was ignited in her at a young age.
In 1998, Lea moved to Fremont - the place she would call her home. Lea attended University of Oregon from 2012-2016, and faithfully cheered on the Ducks every weekend. After graduation, she chased her career in PR all the way from San Francisco to Portland and ultimately to Seattle, a place she always dreamed of living.
Anyone who knew Lea would know that her bright personality lit up any room she walked into and that her laugh was infectious. She was passionate about music and traveled to many different music festivals where she would break out in dance to her favorite songs. Lea was full of love and loved her life, and will be missed dearly by family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Aleksandar Adamović and Nela Marković; Snežana Vejzagić, aunt; Boris Vejzagić, uncle; Mia Vejzagić, cousin; and grandparents Ašida and Milorad Marković, Zdenka Adamović, Uncle Bernard Adamović and Aunt Aida Adamović.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward at 12:00 PM.
Thanks for all the memories we’ve shared in high school! Until we meet again! RIP Lea!
One of my favorite students at Irvington. Sending prayers to your family and friends. We will always remember you and how you touched the lives of so many of us. Thinking of your beautiful smile always…
So sorry to hear of Lea’s passing. Such a vibrant beautiful young woman taken way too soon. My condolences to to the family and friends of Lea’s.
I remember meeting you freshman year at U of O. My first impression of you was that you were loud and very excited to be a duck. After freshman year, I became closer to you and learned that you had a great morale compass and knew exactly what was right and what was wrong. You were never afraid to voice your opinion and that’s something I really admired about you. My heart aches from this news and you leave behind family and friends that truly love you. No matter where I go in life I will always carry your spirit with me. I’ll always make sure to be loud and proud of who I am, and apply your morale compass whenever I’m in doubt. You’ll forever be missed, but most of all never forgotten.
I only had one class with Lea at IHS, but she was always EVERYWHERE! From supporting us at soccer and volleyball games, to making everyone laugh uncontrollably around her – you will be missed by many Lea! <3
Aco, I am so sorry to hear about your loss…Iskreno saucesce…
Lea was a bright light in our Edelman offices and such a joy to work with and be around. She was sweet and sassy, and exhibited a confidence well beyond her years. Lea once came over to our house to dogsit our little mini doxie; she was such a fan of animals and always asked about Hadley, our dog, when I saw her. Lea, we miss you. Rest in peace.
