Phillip is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Arlene Norris, daughter Janet, brother George Norris and best friend Henry Brown. Phil passed quietly in his sleep on 9/11/2018. Phil was a
quiet man with a great sense of humor. He served in the US Air Force, worked as an airline mechanic for many years and became an Aviation Safety Inspector for the FAA. He will be
remembered for his kindness, compassion and sense of humor.
Celebration of Life will be at Chapel of the Angels in Fremont on9/27 2:00p

Janet, My condolences to you and your family during this time. While I never met your Dad, you are a great reflection of the kind of man he must have been. Sending you good thoughts and prayers.
Dearest Janet, please know my thought & prayers are with you and your family. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Losing a parent is such a difficult reality of life & very sad. My prayer is that you receive comfort from all those who care about you & knowing your dad is with our Lord in Heaven.

Dearest Janet, am still feeling very sad for the loss of ur dear Dad Phil and am also at lost for words to provide comforting thoughts to your Mom Arlene and you. It’s never ever easy the passing of loved ones and I pray you and your Mom will feel the strenthening presence of the Lord God throughout. Know you have friends who care and love you. Your Dad Phil is now in the joyous realm of God and will likely be overseeing you and Mom Arlene from Heaven. I will miss Phil’s uncanny humor in his story telling.

Many fond memories of gathering with the Norris Family many years ago. My dad Harry celebrated his 50th Birthday at your home. He so enjoyed your friendship and he and Phil would find much to talk about.
