Robert “Bobby” Campillo, age 59, passed away suddenly on July 28, 2019 in Newark, California. Bobby was born in San Francisco to Armando “Curly” and Jennie Campillo on September 15,1959. He attended school in Foster City and graduated from Burlingame High School in 1977. Shortly after graduation, Bobby went to work for Space Systems Loral and held a variety of positions eventually becoming a Network Engineer. As a Network Engineer, he travelled to remote locations around the world to support numerous satellite launches. Bobby took great pride in his job. Bobby loved baseball and played in numerous softball leagues around the Bay area. Bobby was a huge sports fan and the Giants and 49ers were his passion. Attending Giants and 49er games was of great joy to him. He married Janel Daggett on January 7, 2009 in San Francisco. Together, they loved their Westie dog, Newton who joined their family in 2016. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Janel, family and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 22, 2019 from 2 to 6 PM at the VIBE Teen Center, 670 Shell Boulevard in Foster City, CA.
