Wu MingYun Juan

On August 20, 2026, Wu MingYun Juan passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born on October 26, 1932, in China, the beloved daughter in a large family of three sisters and two brothers, all of whom preceded her in passing.

At just 17 years old, with remarkable courage, MingYun left China on her own and journeyed to Taiwan to escape communism. It was there she met her husband, YuHsiang Juan, and they married in 1955. They shared a happy life together in Taiwan until YuHsiang’s passing in 1982.

In 1988, MingYun moved to sunny California to be close to her children. She was a devoted mother to TsengKuei (Scott) and TsengHui (Sabrina), dedicating her life to their well‑being. She lovingly helped raise her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alex and Vicki, from the day they were born.

MingYun will be remembered for her bright smile, her wonderful cooking, and her unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. Her kindness, strength, and generosity touched everyone who knew her.

Although her passing is a great loss, we find comfort knowing she is now peacefully reunited in heaven with her husband, sisters, and brothers.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Mission San Jose on Monday August 31, 2026. Viewing will be at 10:00AM, Mass will begin at 11:00 AM.

Lunch will be provided following the service.
