Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I know the night I saw the shooting star that it was you waving hello & goodbye on your way to the stars! It was an incredible 100-year ride as and we wish you Godspeed Aunt Al!

  2. CandleTia (Aunt Alice) was a blessing in my life. I’ll always remember the wonderful times I was blessed to have spent with her… whether at her home, visiting Pier 39 & Fisherman’s Wharf, touring the Rosie the Riveter Museum in Richmond, being part of Lynn’s 65th birthday surprise party or even just long talks about Spirituality on the phone. When we would visit Tia in Fremont she would take us to her favorite restaurants like Dino’s and Minerva’s where she was always treated like family. I always felt like I was with The Mayor of Fremont when we would take her “marketing” around town. Tia adored my daughter, Haley, who joined us for lunch right before the Covid pandemic shut everything down in March 2020. I had the privilege to interview her and write her Rosie the Riveter story. Tia was very humble about being a Rosie as she felt that she was just doing her part for the war effort. Tia will be forever in my heart. She always ended our phone calls with “Happy New Year!” and “Good things are coming!”. Love you Tia!

  3. CandleTo my Godmother. My mother’s best pal. I hope the two of you are yukking it up in heaven now. She always bought me a new dress for Easter. Rest in eternal peace with Uncle Stan.

  4. However brief, I’m glad I came to the graveside service yesterday. I didn’t recognize anyone of course, but if any of her many nieces and nephews were there and wondering who I was, I used to be Jeannette Bozigian, and my parents were Earl and Yvette Bozigian. We spent many many Sundays with Uncle Stan and Auntie Alice. They were a big part of my growing up years. She was, I believe, the MOST positive person I knew. She called me last month to tell me her brother had passed away, and it made for a tough Christmas for her. And, as always, she closed with, “I love you!”. I know the Lord has blessed her 10 times over!

  5. CandleAlice was the sweetest and kindest neighbor and friend to me. I’ll miss our long talks, “marketing” trips, and lunches at Dinos and Minervas to celebrate our birthdays, which were only a day apart. Loved her positivity, and her Rosie the Riveter stories, and her determination to “just deal with it” when challenges came her way, with her unwavering faith that “better things are coming”.

Thank you for your prayers, your friendship, and your talks, Alice. I’ll always remember them.

May you Rest In Peace, and may your family be comforted.

    -Monica and “little” David
