Anna Chelstowski was called gently home to Heaven on September 23, 2012. Born in Poland, she was a long term resident of San Jose. She is survived by her two children, Halina and John, and their families.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St.Joseph Catholic Church, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont, on Friday, October 5 at 11:00 am.

Dear Babcia
I’m very sad you’re no longer with us and I can’t no longer see you, or give you a hug, or help you find your glasses, or have tea and cookies with you, or help you sweep the driveway together with Sarah, or call you letting you know I’m on my way home. I hope you’re in a better place now knowing how much I love and miss you.
I imagine you being an angel in heavens now looking over us and protecting us.
You always were a very loving, generous and caring person who welcomed me at your house for so many years.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I’m happy I met you. My life is so much fuller knowing you.
I’m not afraid to die anymore because when I do, I know I’ll be able to reunite with you some day. Until that day I’ll always remember, cherish and miss you, and keep you in my prayers.
