Anthony Perreira

Anthony Perreira, age 88, passed peacefully on March 4, 2020, in Fremont, California surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 4, 1932, in Hawaii to Joseph and Margaret Perreira. He moved to California and lived in Alameda County for 59 years. He met and married the love of his life Juanita Y. Perreira and was happily married for 64 years. They raised a family and had three sons.

He is survived by his loving sons, Anthony Perreira Jr., and wife Isabel, and Bill Perreira. He was a devoted grandfather and great grandfather to his four grandchildren, Daniel and wife, Monica, Mark and wife, Kaitlin, Samantha, and Kaitlyn Perreira, and his three loving great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Juanita Perreira, his parents, Joseph and Margaret Perreira and his son, Reginald Perreira.

Anthony enjoyed grilling on his barbeque and visiting with family and friends. He loved to travel to his birth state of Hawaii and also Las Vegas to partake in games of chance. He was a longtime former mechanic at Irvington Wheel & Brakes. Anthony was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
