Tony was born in Neidenbach, Germany on April 3, 1929. On the evening of April 2, 2015 he died peacefully at his home in Fremont, after a long illness. He was two hours away from his 86 th birthday. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marie Luise, son, Hans-Ulrich Serve and wife Carol. Daughter, Claudia Szpetkowski and husband Jerzy, Grandchildren, Monika and Anthony Serve, and Sabrina and Margaret Szpetkowski. He is also survived by a brother and sister in Germany, three Sister- in-laws, one Brother-in-law, two Godsons, and a host of nieces and nephews in California and Germany. He will be missed by all.
A memorial service and reception will be held on Friday, April 17th at 2:00 pm, at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels 40842 Fremont Blvd. Fremont, California 94538
