The Smith family is a very caring family to the many people that they help through trouble times.
Honest, Humble and Hardworking. You can't do any better.
Dear Kevin & Staff - thank you very much for taking care of our family's needs during the cremation services of my mom. We thank you for keeping everything within our wishes, simplicity and genuine compassion. Everyone was thoroughly professional, understanding and very friendly.
This company helped us through a difficult time after my mother in law passed away. They were so kind and helpful and they knew exactly how to advise and support us.
Compared to a few places I spoke with prior, this place gave me a warm and sympathetic tone when speaking with them. Sam was a joy to work with and was great at serving as a resource and answering all the many questions we had. I also appreciated the time and patience he took to breakdown everything related to funeral planning given I went in pretty clueless about the entire process. I highly recommend them!
The arrangements and the cooperation by the staff right from the start till the end was exceptionally good.
I appreciated the attention to detail and kindness everyone showed. I specifically worked with Michelle Tokarski to complete the cremation and obtain death certificates. Michelle was kind and kept me up to date with the progress of each procedure throughout the way. I was never left wondering when the next step would be. I am so thankful for the help from her and the rest of the team at this facility.
The service's I've been to for friends and loved ones have been very well handled. The facilities are very good.
Kevin, Dan, and the entire staff at Berge-Pappas-Smith took great care of my mom who recently passed away. They were very professional and courteous - my family could have asked for a better place to take care of my mom! I plan to recommend Berge-Pappas-Smith to anyone dealing with the loss of a family member or loved one.
The staff and the facility was nothing short of professional and meaningful. We are glad they are part of our mourning.
They were extremely attentive and accommodating, they made sure we had everything we needed to have a good service. They were knowledgeable about other burial services. They had enough staff on hand, place was clean, and they are affordable. Highly recommend.
The overall experience was excellent and smooth transitions from the owner Kevin Smith to staffers; Becky Cummins, Sam Smith, Fabian and Ariel were absolutely going above and beyond their duties to guide and provided our family needs during the difficult time. The staffs ensured to support us all the details to make our family and guests as comfortable as possible. The garden hall just well maintained and peacefulness for viewing service.
Extremely courteous and professional. We had a service for our Grandfather that was completed through Berge-Pappas-Smiths’ guidance and our family was very well cared for. I’m grateful for the conversations that took place to coordinate our services - they were thoughtful, direct and easy to work with. They made a difference for our family during a strenuous time and especially helped with our vendor management and arrangements. Thanks for your services and care.
All my prayers, All my Love…

I will remember Atul as someone who was always smiling, a positive attitude, and with something good to say about everyone. There are too few people like that in the world, and unfortunately even fewer now.
My deepest condolences to his family.
May he rest in peace, and his memory continue to enrich others.
Atul was a dear friend of mine. We met in 1984 when we both joined Woodstock School. The friendship lasted well past our high school days. He inspired me to pick the career that I now have and gave me tons of personal advice over the years. I will miss him dearly and only hope that he is watching upon us.
Rest in Peace Atul.
God bless him and all of his family and friends during this trying time.

Although it’s been twenty-five years since I last saw Atul, I still have fond memories of him and his terrific personality from Woodstock. Always cheerful, always positive, always a calming presence among sometimes rowdy and insensitive high school boys. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones at his passing.
Atul was one of the kindest souls I’ve come across in this lifetime. He was a pleasure to work with and to know. His passing at such a young age seems so tragic, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
I remember Atul as a very kind person, always smiling. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this extremely difficult time.
Atul was a kind and nice person. It is terrible to have a classmate pass away so young and seems that one is cheated from growing older with ones family and friends. Sincere condolence and amazing strength for Atul’s family at this very difficult time.
Carrie and I send our sincere condolences to Atul’s family. We have not seen him since our wedding 21 years ago. We have fond memories of Atul, with his smile and fun-loving ways, at Michigan Tech. He was a good friend, and we are saddened by his loss. May God bring you comfort during this time.
What happened wasn’t right, it was way too early. I’m sitting here and trying to make sense of why you, and why Mini? God couldn’t have done this to 2 nicer people. I miss you A LOT, it still doesn’t feel real. I know you are with God because you were an amazing and giving person. Please always watch over Mini and the kids, and lead their way and help them find happiness once again. Atul you will forever remain in our hearts, you will never be replaced, you were a brother and friend!
Love you,
Hon!!!
Dearest Atul,
You will always remain in our hearts. It is unfair that a wonderful warm father, husband, son and friend had to leave this earthly life at such a young age. We are heartbroken with the news and have Meenu, Neha and Nikhil and aunty, uncle in our prayers. May God give them the strength and will to bear this heavy loss. Our deepest condolences to all Atul’s family.
With Sympathy

This is so shocking to me Atul.
I was missing your smile and googled you.
I knew that you will be running a company by now with the immmense talent and drive and intelligence that you have.
I never expected this my friend.
You are so young. This is just not fair.
I had come to do master in electrical engineering at michigan tech. I had landed from India and was so homesick and scared of everything.
The only comfort used to be your smile when i saw you walking by.
Also, when i talked to you, i always felt better as you would say that life will be OK and everything is OK.
Hoping to see you again someday my friend. I refuse this outcome.
This is something New !
