Bernadine Goularte

Bernadine Goularte Oct. 19, 1933 - Apr. 29, 2014 Resident of Fremont Bernadine Marie Goularte, entered into rest April 29, 2014 at Washington Hospital. Born in Niles, CA to Manuel and Mabel Abreu, she was 80 years old and a life long resident of the area. She enjoyed traveling and reading and was a long time Primary School Teacher for the Fremont Unified School District. She volunteered for 25 years with Washington Hospital Service League, Portuguese Historical Museum at History Park in San Jose and was also a member of P.F.S.A. #16 and lifelong member of Holy Spirit Parish. Loving wife of 41 years to Lionel Goularte of Fremont, CA. Beloved sister of Joseph Abreu and wife Shirley of Fremont, CA. Dearest aunt of Brenda and Larry DeCosta of Fresno, CA and Joe and Paige Abreu of Brentwood, CA. Great aunt of Lauren, Lindsay and Steven DeCosta and Megan and Logan Abreu. She is also survived by her cousin Barbara Pimentel and her husband Clay. Funeral Mass will be 6:30 PM May 5, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 37588 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA.
