Carl Anthony Scarson

Carl Anthony Scarson was born on January 2, 1938 in Rochester, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Lucille Scarson and brothers, Art and Andy and first wife, Elizabeth (Ensley). He is survived by his brothers, Steve (wife, Suzi) and Leonard (wife, Julie); sons David, Gary and Brian and his current wife, Ruth (Busselen) Scarson. Carl graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Rochester, NY and received his AA Degree from San Bernadino Community College. Carl served in the US Marines from 1958 - 1962. During that time, he married Elizabeth. They were married for 45 years until she passed away in 2006. Carl worked at Lockheed Martin for 13 years and Parker Hannifin Aerospace for 31 years. He retired on September 30, 2007. Carl met Ruth Busselen and they were married on November 10, 2007. Always active in church, Carl especially loved working with children. He and Ruth volunteered with such ministries as Kids Club of Fremont and San Francisco City Academy as well as different projects with Compassion Network of Fremont. He also went on missions adventures to Tijuana, Mexico and Harare, Zimbabwe. Carl served on the prayer team at Harbor Light, and also served as an usher. He will be dearly missed.
