Carolyn Stanley

Carolyn A. Stanley entered peacefully into rest February 11, 2016 at her home in Fremont, CA. Born August 28, 1945 in Louisville, KY, to James and Marie Greenwell, she was 70 years old. She enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and visiting the casinos where she was know as the :Red Hot Granny'. She loved being a stay at home mom, and was Vice President of the PTA, she also kept the books for her husband's business and invested in rental properties. Beloved wife Bob Stanley. Devoted mother of Bob Stanley Jr and wife Sherri, Ron Stanley, Debbie Smith and husband Robert, and Kathy Switzer and soul mate Scott Greeny. Loving grandmother of Jacquelin Smith, Daniel Stanley and his soul mate Julie, and Katie Switzer. Dearest sister of Jim Greenwell and wife Peggy, and sister-in-law of Doug Stanley and wife Janice, Everett Stanley and the late David Stanley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a visitation Monday, February 15th from 4:00-8:00 PM. Celebration of life services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 16th at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA.
