Celia Saenz

Loving wife and mother. Celia and her husband, John opened the restaurant that would eventually become La Casita, and was the owner and cook for Don Juan’s Mexican Restaurant from 1966-1988. The couple enjoyed travel, and after her husband’s passing in 1990, she continued to travel on her own and with her younger sister. Celia was also a volunteer driver for the Cancer Society as well as a volunteer camp host for the California State Park system.

Celia is survived by her two sons, Eric and Christopher, a daughter in law, Kristy, as well as her remaining sister and various nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 40 years, three older brothers, and two younger sisters.
