Charles Arthur Linzey

Charles “Chuck” Linzey, entered peacefully into rest February 18, 2018 in Fremont, CA. He was born on February 24, 1929 in Pennsylvania, to John and Margaret Linzey. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joanne Linzey. He was the loving father of Sheryl Singewald. He is also survived by his son in law, Gregory Singewald and sister in law, Mary Lou Breiter. He was proceeded in death by his late brother, Jack Edward Linzey. Uncle Chuck is mourned by nieces and nephews around the country. Charles enjoyed sking and golfing. He had skied and golfed around the world. He was a member of SIRS in Fremont. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. Burial will take place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in March. Family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The Paralyzed Veterans of America at 801 Eighteenth Street, NW in Washington, DC 20006-3517, in Charles name.
