Chimako Takayama March 18, 1929-July 24, 2014 Resident of Newark Chimako passed away on July 24, 2014 in Newark, CA, she was born in Kumamoto, Japan on March 18, 1929. Chimako was the beloved wife to the Late Paul Y. Takayama who passed away July 5, 2013. Chimako is survived by her daughter Midori Hamamoto of Newark, her sons, Yoshikazu Takayama, Michael Takayama, and the late Eilchi Takayama. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Besides loving her family she loved spending time in her garden. Services for Chimako will be held of Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10 AM at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels 40842 Fremont Blvd. Fremont.
