Cleatus Bennett, 94, of Fremont, CA was born April 24, 1928, in Pocahontas, AR, and passed away on July 27, 2022.
Cleatus met Allie the love of his life at the Brown Shoe Company in Pocahontas, they were married on September 3, 1948. Cleatus was enlisted in the Navy at San Diego, CA from 1952 – 1956, where he served aboard the USS Telfair.
They returned to Pocahontas Arkansas in 1956 and stayed until 1964. They settled in Fremont, CA where they raised 1 daughter.
He will be remembered for his generosity of spirit and for his love of family. His family is comforted by the fact that he is now at peace.
Cleatus is survived by his daughter Renee, grandchildren James and Michael, great grandson Nathan, and sister Shirley.

So very sorry to lose one of my favorite uncle’s, he was one of four brothers and five sisters. He and Allie lived and worked in St.Louis, we became very close during that time. God bless him and blessing to his family.
