Consuelo 'Connie' Muniz passed away on June 26, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born to Marciel and Bridget Ortega on April 12, 1928 in Villanueva, New Mexico. Formerly a resident of Oakland, she has lived in Fremont since 1961.
Beloved wife of Leo M. Muniz. Devoted mother of David Muniz and wife Linda of Berryville, Arkansas, Kathy Cuevas and husband Leonard of Fremont, Linda Rodriguez and husband Ruben of Fremont, Mark Muniz and wife Jessica of Fremont, and the late Robert Muniz. Cherished grandmother of twelve, and great-grandmother of eleven.
She was our devoted loving mother and grandmother who found the jewels of her life in her family's smiles, and was known for her strength of character, infectious laugh, and her generous heart. Connie enjoyed crossword puzzles, games of chance, movies, game shows, dancing and music. She was a quality control inspector for Owens-Illinois and Glass Containers Corp. and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in Connie's name to your favorite charity.

So sorry about Aunt Connie, would have loved to be there for the family, hope Uncle Leo is recovery from his surgery. Would you please have Uncle Leo call us when he is able to receive our condolences, Bob was quite upset over the death of Aunt Connie we both thought the world of her and Uncle Leo, she will be missed.
