Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was incredibly saddened to hear of Aunt Tootie’s passing. I have wonderful memories of her, from the letters we’d write when I was younger, as my pen pal. Then few years back during military training out in California, I was so lucky to have spent time with her and all my other family as well. She really wanted to share a drink with me (unfortunately, I was on specific orders and unable to indulge), I have the pictures of that trip on my desk at work right now, beautiful memories, ALL SMILES, ALL LAUGHS! We all had so many laughs inside that steak house, I laughed more than I ate! I will forever be grateful to her and Uncle Sonny for taking the time to show me and my friend around San Francisco, allowing us to use their car, which was beyond generous! As well as, giving us tons of oranges, and offering to spend every moment I had available with me, she was never “too busy” or “unavailable” she was available when I was there, that’s how amazing she was! Her sense of humor and her care for others is unmatched by anyone I know. I will miss her spirit, kindness, and laughter most of all! She was a blessing to know and be in her family! To my California family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers, I know how much she will be missed! Sorry for the long read, those were just such sweet memories for me, I wanted to share! All my love!

  2. Mark and I were so saddened to hear about Tootie’s passing. She is the subject of many great and warm memories. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to attend the services, but our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this time….

  3. Benny, Teri, and Kadie along with our entire family, will miss Tootie she was a very special person. Especially to my grandaughter Kadie. She and Kadie spent many days coloring, putting puzzles together, and playing dolls. We will always remember her smile and hospitality, for putting up with husband almost every morning fixing toast and coffee for Howard and him both.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Entire family god bless you all.
