Dolores J. Sterling passed away peacefully on May 22, 2021. Dolores was born on January 8, 1930, in Burlington, Iowa, to Edward and Vera Dannies. She was a resident of Fremont for the last 61 years.
Dolores was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Sterling. She is survived by her children Rebecca S. Sterling of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Robert E. Sterling of Fremont, California. Dolores is also survived by her grandkids Robert Emerson Sterling, Sarah Marie Sterling, great-granddaughter Amelia Sterling and great-grandson Jackson Sterling Williams.
Some of Dolores’ hobbies included spending time gardening, cooking for friends and family, spending time with her family, and she loved to read. During her working years, Dolores was a Registered Nurse and was at Washington Hospital for over 30 years.
A memorial service will be held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels in Fremont, California, at a later date. If you would like to attend, please reach out to Dolores’ family for more information. In lieu of flowers please donate to a church or charity of your choosing.

She will be missed by all. She has joined her husband and all her sisters again. They are having family gatherings all the time, now that everyone is out of pain and suffering.
