Donna Ruth Hindreus entered peacefully into rest December 10, 2013 after battling Alzheimer's disease. She was born June 14, 1932 in Vienna, Alabama to Jesse and Icie Sparks, she was one of seven children. Upon moving to California, she met her husband Hans Hindreus whom she was married to for 63 years and long time resident of Mission San Jose Hills. They had three daughters, Susan and husband Mark, Kathy and husband Terry and Tiiu and husband Robert. Loving grandmother to 8 grandchildren, Saul, Cole, Aaron, Robert, Katriina, Liisa, Summer and Katie and 13 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Betty Nelson and sister-in-law Betty Sparks. Celebration of life services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 20th held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA.

  8. Donna, I have so many warm childhood memories of you. You were always so sweet and tolerant of us crazy kids. Your backyard was like a second home to me. You will be greatly missed but I know your spirit will live on in your family. I find comfort in knowing that you are at peace.
