Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. CandleI am so sorry for your loss. I was able to know Eddie through work at COIL. He will always be remembered.

  2. CandleI knew Eddie back in 2013 when I was doing my service hours for high school but he is an amazing guy. always joked around and just a really positive person. You will be missed Eddie Thank you for all the laughs and good times.

  3. CandleI met Eddie 3 years ago through our Sunday soccer team. Eddie was one of the most personable, likable people that I have had the fortune to meet in a long time. He was competitive and focused on the field, as well as warm and compassionate away from it. I am saddened at the realization that I will no longer have interactions with him, but it is a far greater loss for his family and close friends. Please accept my condolences and know that I will always have fond memories of Eddie.

  4. CandleTo Eddie’s Family:

I am very sorry to hear about Eddie’s passing. He was a colleague at COIL. I count myself lucky to have known him. His humor, his passion, his shoes all were unique elements of his personality. Our students were also touched by his caring style. They really listened to his stories about working hard and getting back what you put in.

  5. CandleEddie and I worked together at Lincoln Elementary. When he walked into my classroom his smile lit up the room. His passing at the holidays brought back a memory that I hope makes the family smile. Eddie loved my cookies I baked at Christmas. Through the whole month of December he would come into class and look at me and say “Are they ready yet?” And I would keep telling him they weren’t all baked yet. When it was time to give them to him it didn’t matter where we were the classroom, the lunch room, the playground , when I handed him that tin of cookies there was that wicked smile I loved and he would dive into that cookie tin, eat one and just sigh and then just gave me a big hug and say “I cant wait until next year”. The sad part for me was the day I found out of his passing I was in the middle of baking my first batch of cookies and ironically I was thinking of him when I got the call. Every batch that came out of the oven I said “Eddie these are for you”. We will all miss you so much. Rest In Peace my friend. When we see each other again I will bring that tin of cookies.

  6. CandleI went to high school with Eduardo and only saw him one time since we graduated but it was like old times when we ran into each other. We used to ride the bus home together and we hung our all the time after school usually at the basketball courts in Warm Springs. Hearing about his passing reminded me of all the good times we had together. My heart and prayers are with all his friends and family.

  7. CandleI am so sorry for your loss, and my heart goes out to you in this difficult time.
I worked with Eddie a couple of years ago at the Cabrillo After School Program. It was a pleasure working with Eddie. He was enthusiastic, energetic, and very friendly. All of the students loved Eddie, and he enjoyed talking and working with all of them. Eddie will be fondly remembered, but also with sadness that he was taken too soon.

  8. We are so thankful to have shared memories with Eddie especially in Peru during Johanna and Miguel’s wedding. We will miss him and his impact on our family.

Words fail to express our sorrow for your loss, but please know we are praying for your healing through this difficult time.

    • CandleStill can’t believe you are gone. Although I only knew you on the soccer field, I always found you as a leader of the team and the one to bring the energy to the game , you always pushed me to play better and I always saw you as the leader.
Thanks for everything, I hope you rest in peace and maybe well meet again one day. RIP Eddie
