Edward "Eddie" Reyes

Eddie Reyes, 42, left to be with the Lord on May 13, 2023 at his home in Salida. Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 26, 2023 at Saint Edward’s Church, followed by burial at Irvington Cemetery

Eddie was born on June 08, 1980 in Hayward, CA to Armando & Sandra. He is survived by his beloved Wife; Isabel, daughter; Sophie, sons; Armando Jr & Eddie Jr, parents; Sandra & Armando, sisters; Joanna, Marina & Adriana, and future brother in-laws; Joey and Alex.

Eddie met the love of his life at the young age of 21 and built his family with her. Eddie was known as a businessman, a hustler, but above all he was a family man. He was known to many as Big Boy as he founded his transportation empire “Big Boy Transporting and Towing“.

It didn’t matter to Eddie if you were blood or not, Eddie built the best relationships with anyone and everyone. Making friends everywhere he created a large family of friends across the world. Eddie especially gained a lot of brothers within the lowrider community over the years, in particular within his own low rider car club, “Life’s Finest” in which he was so dedicated to and giving to.

Eddie was very proud of being the son of two very hard working Mexican immigrants and he was proud and gracious for the wonderful life that they provided him and his family. His parents inspired him to be very hard working and above all they inspired him to become the loving and dedicated family man he was. He always let his Family know how much he loved them. Although there will be a huge void without him here, the love he showed to all of us will last forever in our hearts.

Upon leaving this life, Eddie was reunited with his beloved grandparents that he admired dearly, his beloved family pets; Chata, Muñeca, Sammie and Zoé and all our beloved family and friends that preceded him.
