Edward Frank Kurtz

Edward F. Kurtz Resident of Fremont Edward Frank Kurtz entered into heaven February 9, 2015 in Fremont, CA. Born April 24, 1926 in Claysburg, PA he was 88 years old. He served in the US Army and was a Nuclear Engineer with General Electric. A long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Men's Club, he was also a member of Sons in Retirement and the American Legion. Husband of Deloris Kurtz. Loving father of Karen Kurtz, Teresa Kurtz, Cynthia Kurtz, Heidi Gallagher, Edward Kurtz and Daniel Kurtz. Dearest brother of Thelma Sentman, Kay Cramer, and Nancy Brown. Grandfather of seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Kurtz and daughter Barbara Kurtz. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Friday February 13th held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 43148 Mission Blvd, Fremont. Private burial will take place at Irvington Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sister John Marie's Pantry, St Joseph St. VIncent de Paul or Special Olympics.
