Emilia Guzman

Emilia C. Guzman Resident of Fremont Emilia C. Guzman, 79, of Fremont, California, died peacefully in her sleep on August, 8th, 2013, at 6:30 pm. Born in Ensenada B.C., Mexico, she is predeceased by her parents, Mr.& Mrs. Juan Carrillo, she is the last of her 10 siblings. Emilia was a homemaker living in Fremont with her husband, Rosendo. She loved her music, spending time with her family, local and abroad. Emilia also worked in housekeeping at Care West Park Central for 17 years. Survivors include her two daughters, Maria Glidewell and Angelica Guzman, both of Fremont CA., two sons, Juan Guzman and Gerardo Guzman, of Fremont CA and Aurora CO, respectively. Emilia, or affectionately known as 'Mili' especially enjoyed her time with her two grandchildren, Alyssa & Cyle Glidewell of Fremont CA. Visitation will be Thursday August 15th from 2:00-8:00 pm with a rosary service at 7:00 PM, held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont. A Catholic mass will be 11:00 am. Friday, August 16th at Our Lady of Guadalupe 40382 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA. Internment to follow at Irvington Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kaiser Hospice for their partnership in care in her final months with us in life. Te Queremos Mucho Mami!
