Emiline C Rose entered peacefully into rest May 23, 2015 in Fremont, CA. Born May 5, 1913 in Alvarado, CA to Joseph R. Gonsalves and Minnie R. Gonsalves. Upon her mothers death she was adopted by her aunt and uncle, Mary and Antone Oliveria. She attended grammar school at Mowry's Landing School, a one-room schoolhouse, graduated from Washington Union High School in 1930. She married Lawrence Rose November 1931. Together they owned and operated the Sunrise Bakery for over 40 years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church for 102 years. Her hobbies were, reading, cross word puzzles and crocheting.
Beloved mother of Emiline Souza of Orland, CA, Patricia Goodwin of Hayward, CA David Rose and wife Jeanette of Fremont, CA and the late LeRoy Rose (6/2005). Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and great great grandmother of 8. Emiline was a caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a 11:00 AM graveside service Monday, June 1st at Irvington Memorial Cemetery, 41001 Chapel Way, Fremont, CA
