Eva Veronica Santos

Eva Santos of Fremont, CA was met by her guardian angels on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the age of 77. Eva was born on January 29, 1941 in Niles, CA to Santiago and Guadalupe Rodarte. She was the fourth of five children; Dan, Matilda, Dolores, Eva and Santiago, Jr. As a lifelong resident of Fremont, Eva attended Washington High School and graduated in 1958. Shortly thereafter, she married her longtime sweetheart Don Santos, and together they have one daughter, Lori. Eva had a long and successful career as a controller at La Fuente Restaurant and as a bank teller and administrative assistant at Raychem. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, trying her luck in casinos, vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Lake Tahoe and playing matchmaker for her daughter. Eva was known for her beautiful smile, compassionate heart and love for her family. Eva’s spirit will forever be cherished by her husband Don, daughter Lori, brothers and sister, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A Celebration of Eva’s life will be Friday, February 8th at 11:00 AM held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels 40842 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA.
