Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I will miss my dear Father-in-Law so much. He was always ready with a smile and had a way to make us laugh. I have so many fond memories that I will cherish forever. Rest in peace, Glen we will miss you dearly. Love,

  2. With sympathy to the Buller family for the loss of a special person in your life. May God grant you peace and healing in your time of sorrow. Our prayers are with you.

  3. Carolyn and family, We were so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of Glen. He was certainly someone we always looked forward to seeing and catching up with whether that was when you were visiting in Nebraska or we were in California. His love for his immediate and extended family was always evident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time.

  4. My Grandpa always went out of his way to help others. There are really no words to describe how amazing of a Grandfather he was. I will always cherish the memories I had with him. How Grandma and him would make it to all of my basketball games in high school, how we would have fishing competitions when he would come visit (I’m pretty sure he let me win), and how my brother and I would spend our summers in Fremont with him and my Grandma. He’d tease me when I would have a HUGE bowl of ice cream. There are so many unforgettable memories. I love you Grandpa. I know you will look after us. And I love you Grandma.

  5. Oh Carolyn and family, I’m so sorry to hear about Glen going home to Heaven. He was a sweet Man and able to do a lot of different things. Hugs to every one from The Hjalmer Family. 🙂

  6. He was my beloved brother who cared for me alot and showed his care to me. My husband & I enjoyed many vacations together with the last one being Hilton Head in North Carolina in June. What a wonderful trip. Our personalities blended I loved him so much and he will be missed.

  7. I always loved spending time with Glen. One of my favorite memories was when my sister Carlin and I were visiting, and Glen and Carolyn were letting me borrow their Saturn car to take my sister to The Phantom of the Opera in San Francisco. Glenn had it parked in his driveway for me with the air and music on. I put it in reverse and rolled down the driveway, but when I put it in drive to pull forward, it wouldn’t go. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was–that’s when Glen came up to the car and said with a twinkle in his eye, “This is one of those kinds of cars you have to START!” Because the music and air were on, I had assumed the engine was running too. We all laughed until we cried. 🙂

  8. Gee so many years, so many moments of fun and laughter and memories. When I met Doug Johnson he brought along into my life Glen & Carolyn…what a blessing I got 3 for the price of one. Doug and I met on a online dating game. When he passed away Glen & Carolyn were there by my side and I was so grateful. We have remained friends ever since. Glen use to walk my dog Mandy and disliked every moment but would tease me and say I guess I need to say no but I just can’t..then one day I tried to get him to walk her again…he said “nope no more” we all laughed. Camping, dinners, lunches parties and of course shopping which you disliked and would just about have a panic attack in the store. We are so grateful to have spent all that time with you. You and Carolyn are my angels from heaven.. We love you Glen always and forever you will remain in our hearts..

  9. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your husband and father. I have fond memories, most of them in my youth, of family vacations and fun times we had. Glen was a great family man and a special uncle to me. Even though we were may miles apart, the family bond was strong. We will miss him, but definitely treasure the memories.

  10. Dear Carolyn,

  19. Carolyn and Family, We pray that the God of our Salvation will draw near you today and in the future, and give you comfort with these words, Hebrews 13:5 “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”

  20. I am greatly saddened and shocked to get this terrible news. As you know, Glen was like my second father growing up and my memories of him are all great. My condolences from the entire Johnson family and wish I could be there in person to provide support- but I will be there in spirit.

  21. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Carolyn. May God keep you and may all the good memories that you and Glen made together help to ease your pain during these difficult days.

  22. From the people who have signed Glen’s guest book it’s obvious he’s already sorely missed. He lived a rich and full life and I’m saddened that he left you so soon!
Please accept my sympathy. You are in my prayers.

  23. Carolyn, Lance, Kent, Scott & Families

You have all been in our thoughts and prayers since we learned of Glen’s passing. We have special memories of time spent with you in California and Nebraska. 26. Lance, I am so sorry for your loss. You & your family are in my prayers. May your memories help you through this difficult time. Stay strong

  27. What can I say? We laughed, told stories, stayed at the house, ate ribs til they came outta my ears( dinner AND breakfast!), he totally surprised me at my 60 th birthday by showing up with my grandsons, Kent , Danna and Carolyn….that’s something I will NEVER forget!; he patiently ( sorta) layed on a chaise lounge with straws in his nose while I did a plaster cast of his face and the back of his head in preparation for the bronze cast bust complete with the ubiquitous T-shirt and Nebraska Cornhuskers ball cap. What a guy.
Gail and I’re envious of those of you that had the privilege of knowing Glen longer….or living closer…both of which we didn’t get to do. I am, however, grateful for the time we did get to spend with this remarkable man and will miss him terribly. Goes unsaid.
Our wishes and sympathy goes out to the entire Buller family. Find peace in rememberance. Love Mike and Gail

  28. Carolyn! Our families go back such a long, long time. You and I first met when we were about 10, I think. Your family visited us wherever we were living in the world and we always had such fun together. The news of Glen’s passing was such a shock and we are still trying to fathom that reality. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Lance, Kent, Scott, and all your extended family during this sad time. Pete and Mary

  29. Dear Carolyn and family, I too, was shocked and saddened by Glen’s passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers. And I hope you will still come to our class reunions.. we all love you.
