Gloria Mary Pianetta
July 24, 1930 ~ July 17, 2022
Born in:
Emeryville, California
Resided in:
Fremont, California
Cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Gloria (91) passed surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Valentino for 72 beautiful years. Mother of James, Janet (Mark), Jeanne (Michael), and Joseph. Grandmother to 9 and great grandmother to 4 with 1 more on the way. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Lena Massola and brother Joseph Massola Jr.
A caring devoted mother with a beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eyes who loved cooking, travel, casino trips, and most importantly being with her family and friends. Gloria was a wonderful cook who enjoyed putting out a big spread for family and friends. Food and togetherness was a big part of the love she shared. Her specialty was fügassa which everyone looked forward to for every family get-together. Gloria and Tino enjoyed going on cruises and traveling with friends. A special trip was to Italy where they could explore their heritage. Casino trips were always on her calendar; she was very lucky and often came home a winner.
Gloria was a kind and generous person always willing to help at a moment’s notice. Her smile and support were the light in our lives. She was a remarkable wife and mother. We love her dearly.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday, July 24 at 3:00 PM at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels 4082 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA. The funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 25 at 12:00 PM at Holy Spirit Church 37588 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA.

Our thoughts are to the fine person Mrs. Pianetta, and her family. I remembered her with My Mom helping out during “hot Dog day”. Cupcakes .05 , chips .05, and hot dogs .10 or .15. And everyone helping were so nice, & smiling. Long ago, memories, never ever forgotten. She definitely has a path way to heaven, Take Care & God bless.
Respectfully
The Dykzeul family
