Harry Eiza Nakagawara (79) of Fremont, CA passed from cancer on October 27, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loved ones by his side. He was born to Harry H. and Dorothy Nakagawara at the Tanforan Assembly Center in San Bruno, CA on June 16, 1942 during the incarceration of 110k people of Japanese heritage from the West Coast. They relocated to the Topaz War Relocation Center in Utah. At the end of WWII, his family took residence in Berkeley, CA where harry graduated from Berkeley High School. He attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Pomona, CA graduating with degrees in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. He owned and operated a Landscape Architecture Design firm for nearly 30 years. Due to COVID, his wish was to not have a memorial service. He is survived by his wife Arlene of 54 years, hid children, Adam and Christine and brother, Quentin Rio Nakagawara.
