Henry Acosta Mendoza

Henry Mendoza, our beloved Spouse. Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle, passed away on April 4, 2019. He was born in San Jose, CA to the late Basilio and Jennie Mendoza. Henry graduated from Washington High School in Fremont, CA. He enlisted in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and trained as an aircraft mechanic. When discharged from the military he worked for several companies as an Aircraft Mechanic and as a Hydraulic Shop Mechanic. He also worked as a supervisor for the former FMC in San Jose, where he eventually went into management. He was dedicated to his career and enjoyed what he did up till he retired. He leaves behind his loving wife Lucille, daughter Cynthia Belias, son-n-law Martin Belias, two grandsons, Paul Mendoza Jr. and Blake Belias, a brother and three sisters. His son Paul Mendoza Sr., granddaughter Bianca Belias, as well as two of his sisters and one brother preceded him in death. We Love you Hank and will miss you dearly. A visitation will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM at Berge Pappas Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd. Fremont, CA. Funeral Mass will be Friday April 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 41933 Blacow Rd., Fremont, CA.
