Hilda Perry Rodrigues

Hilda Perry Rodrigues died peacefully on January 27, 2021 at home in Fremont, CA at age 96. She was born May 7, 1924 in Newark, CA.

She was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Church, S.P.R.S.I,  P.F.S.A. and Luso-American. She enjoyed traveling and cruises, she worked as a bilingual aid interpreting for elementary school students. She also helped many community members interpreting at medical appointments, DMV visits and many other occasions.

Hilda was very active in S.P.R.S.I. for many years. She held many offices throughout the years, from  Grand President in 1974 to Dean as a member of councils 2 & 79. She was also an advisor to Jr. Unit 1, and served on the Grand Finance Committee and Grand Board of Directors.

She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Rodrigues, son Lester Rodrigues and wife Kathy Rustice, sister Mamie Miller and brother John Vierra.  Also survived by many godchildren, nieces and nephews.

Hilda will be laid to rest next to her husband at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
