  1. CandleIris was the most generous person we have ever known. For example, she would regularly bring us extra lunch at the Senior Center. If we were at Bronco Billy’s, there would be even more pizza. Although we did not attend the poker days she had — someone else can describe them — we were always invited, and they were evidently incredible events.

One fond memory that I will always have is when Jeff and I first were invited to sit at David and Iris’ table at the Senior Center. When she found out that I had at one time spoken Spanish fluently, she enthusiastically began a lengthy conversation with me in the language despite my more recent less than perfect command of it. That’s the way she was.

    Our deepest condolences.

  7. CandleMy deepest condolences to John, the family and to those who were close to her.
Two of my fondest memory of Tia Iris was when she to express her condolences when my father had past 8 years ago. She had presented me a heart locket, so that I may keep a photo of my love ones closest to my heart and when she visited me randomly one day when I use to work in Fremont. She had packed me a big, delicious, lunch so I may share with my fellow coworkers.
Tia Iris was a very nurturing person and I will always remember that. May she rest in eternal peace.

    With love,
