Jack Keller passed away on October 1, 2021. He was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1934. He enjoyed playing the saxophone and the clarinet at Memorial High School and in a dance band on weekends. He attended Purdue University for his BS and MS degrees and joined the Purdue marching band. After college graduation he married Miriam Rose Oberle. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in 2021. He completed a PhD in Applied Mechanics at New York’s Brooklyn Polytechnic in 1963. His dissertation topic was “Optimum Rendezvous Maneuvers for High Thrust Rockets.” He worked for Sperry Gyroscope, General Binding Co., Remington Rand, Sperry Unisys, and Kaiser Electronics. His family lived in many locations, including Dix Hills, NY, Lansdale, PA, Lincolnshire, IL, Phoenix, AZ, Albuquerque, NM and Milpitas and Fremont, CA. His unique sense of humor will long be remembered by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Miriam, his three children, Judy, Steve (Donna), and Susan, and his three grandchildren, Amberle (Nathan), Catherine, and David (Samantha).
