She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and was a trusted adult for many youth and adults throughout the years. It was not unusual to have additional kids at our dinner table growing up and our parents often took others into their home.

Jackie has been a homemaker for the past 50+ years raising her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader, cross word puzzle expert, and an enthusiastic walker. She also had a quite extensive movie collection. Her favorite candy bar was a Butterfinger and would eat them daily. Her quick wit and sarcasm was often the way she showed her love. People described her as: #mom #smart #glue #strength #unique #feisty #Zah #life #honest #spunk #humorous #witty #nofilter

    Doug & Marilyn Urbani

  2. Sending my condolences to the family…. I loved her very much ! She always took care of me and my kids when I needed her to and she taught me how to make great Portuguese beans too! I love you all !
My prayers will be with you all!

  3. Steve and I are so sorry to hear of Mrs, Reis’ passing. She was always kind to both of us and our parents. She was a fixture in our neighborhood, walking to and from the store at least once a week. She politely turned down our offers to give her a ride, commenting with a wry smile, “This is how I stay young. Maybe once I get older, I’ll take you up on that offer. Thanks!” She May be gone, but never forgotten. We’ll keep your family in our prayers.

  4. CandleHealing takes time. As wonderful as it would be to press a button and suddenly be healed, the journey of rejuvenation is not so easy. Be patient with yourself during times of healing, friend. No one gets over great loss or pain without the passage of time to aid them. Allow time to soothe the ache.

Thinking of you and sending healing prayers 🙏
